1. How long have you been involved in the scene
  I had my 1st play out 11 years ago, and have been playing on Radio stations for nearly 13 years

2. What are your plans for the rest of this year?

To do more promotions myself, and eventually get in the studio at some point later this year

 

3. How did you get into what your doing

My old friend who was a next door neighbour at the time introduced me to Jungle when i was
12, he had decks, but couldnt mix, so he began to mc, and everytime i went round to his, i took the
role of the dj, I couldnt mix at this point, but that was my first taste, that got me hooked

 

4. Do you remember your first Rave

My 1st Rave is still a clear memory now, it was 12 years ago now, the event was MC STEVIE
HYPER D'S memorial rave at the END Club in Holborn, London, and that was when the END CLUB
sound system was at its freshest and best. I remember Goldie dropping PULP FICTION as his intro
and my dinner was dancing around in my belly like mad from the bass. Absolutely gutted i didnt see
Stevie Hyper D in action. R.I.P.

 

5. Can you remember your first play out?

My 1st play out was in the top room of ATOMICS, Maidstone for PURE SCIENCE in 1998, still
fresh on my head.

6. Who in the scene inspired you to want to be a part of it?

I would say that my dad ( micky Finn ) inspired me a lot, also the likes of Nicky Blackmarket,
Hype, Shy fx and many others.......

 

7. Do you feel the scene is in a healthy state ?

I think the scene is definately in a healthy state, not just in the UK, Worldwide the scene is still
strong, I am Proud to be apart of dnb, its existance has lived for years and years, not like these 2 bob
musics that come and go

8. where do you see yourself in 5 years?

5 years seems like a long time, but time flies so i wouldnt like to say.

 

9. What was the first record you bought ?

1st record i bought was a dope dragon, square off or Cash till, from Boogie Times in Romford.

 

10. What other types of music do you listen to?

I Was brought up on Maxi Priest, Carroll Thompson, UB40, John Holt, i love all that, but also
listen to Hip Hop, RnB, and i can handle a little bit of pop too

11. What tune are you excited about at the moment?

My favourite track at the mo is probably DJ SLY & MC TRIGGA - WE NOT INNA NUTTIN WID DEM

 

12. What did you have for breakfast this morning?

Still havent had any, these 20 questions have took longer than i thought, ha ha

 

13. Do you play any sport?

Not no more, Used to play football, 100m Sprint, High Jump and Long Jump

 

14. What football team do you support?

West Ham United - Dagenham & Redbridge - England

 

15. What’s the most interesting place you have been to?

Has to be Kazakhstan so far, for djing experiences, really opened my eyes up

 

16. How many pairs of trainers do you own?

Probably 4

17. Do you have any pets?
No

18. when you was a raver Who was your favourite dj ?

When i Was a raver, it would have to be SHY FX overall, even though Swift
was killing it too back then for me

 

19. Whats your favourite Tv Show ?
The Fast show / Trigger happy Tv /  Catherine Tate
